  Do you know what the file size limit is on the zi8 ? With the Zx3 that I have, the file size limit is just under 4 Gigs. The zi8 has variable compression encoding vs constant bit encoding, this means that the zi8 should be able to squeeze more video within x amount of file space vs the zx3.
