T3i is not much different than the T2i.

Just the price really.

You should use a metal backer for safety.

We use $.50 coins sometimes as backers.

Use Coffee for your earth it looks real.

You have to remember there is not much smoke from a ground mortar hit.

Also you need 150 psi or higher.

I would also suggest a larger debris chamber.

6" is a start, but I would suggest something like a 5 gallon bucke...

90% of films today still use miniatures for some shots.

In that time I have seen many things come and go.

The 35mm DOF adapters are not worth the price they charge.

You are better to spend your money on better color correction software.

I have worked with 2K and 4K cameras...

It's not bad.

I think you have what it takes.

Don't waste your money on this camera or the other camcorders out there.

In the next couple years Real D will come out with a smaller cheaper camera.

I have a Canon 500D and a Loreo 3D Stereo Lens and it looks just as good.

Also it will not cost you $21,000.00.

The lens cost me $124.00 and of course my 550D rig cost around $1000.00

Either way you have to change the video in post. So save some money.

I use to rent them, both rubber and blank firing ones.

However due to our wonderful american laws I no longer do.

I would suggest looking online for cheap Airsoft models.

Also it looks like you used plaster on some parts.

I used sheet rock for my model house.

The house had to burn at a slow rate, so sheet rock gave me that effect.
