About this user
TimeKeeper was an Original Rock Band from South Eastern KY (Jenkins), who began writing and playing original songs in 1988. They combined classic rock with alternative and a dash of metal to come up with their own brand of Rock-N-Roll. Urged by local fans to" get their music out", entered and won a battle of the bands, sponsored by 103.5 WIMZ and Uncle Sams in Knoxville, TN. in 1992. Taking the prize of studio time at "Big Mamma Studios" in Knoxville and then head-lining the 103.5 WIMZ's "All American Jam '92". The 4 song "TIMEKEEPER Demo" followed and allowed the group to gain a rather large local/regional following from Lexington, KY to Knoxville, TN, and all the way down to Georgia. The "DEMO" also gained the band a chance to perform live on APPALSHOP's WMMT 88.7. Writing new material all along the way, TimeKeeper's collection of songs (about 100) is as broad as the music styles they were influenced by. The band no longer plays live, but fans are still out there asking the same questions, "Where can I get Timekeeper music?" and " Are you guys going to play another show?". So, that's the reason I've put this together, to get the music out there and post a few old videos so people could see us "live".... Hope you enjoy the music.....
