I have always identified as female but only transitioned in my forties. That was when I found out I was XXmale. I chose to continue with transition.Did I cop out? I don't live an "alternative" lifestyle. I live and work and am accepted as female just as it says on my passport. I'm not an activist but do have strong views on transgender issues. Like anyone, if we set ourselves apart from society we have to face up to being viewed with curiosity or even suspision. I wish I wasn't so camera shy and could post vids (I had to be pinned down for the pic above)
