My grandfather was a logger, my father was a logger. So logging was in my blood. Started going to work with my father in 1955, took to a saw in 1960. I strip cut pulp for 6 yr's, with the older Fin's , i watched and learned from them, some of the best. 1966 went to Libby, Mt., fell timber. Came back to Mn. 1968, bought a new Treefarmer. Got a crew together, started pulling wood. [ Wiskey for me and fresh horse's for my men] made one mistake, 1989 broke my neck so here i set in a wheelchair [Quad.] Love the wood's, smell, fresh air, hear the bird's, you love your work, The best time was when i stayed in camp. BE CAREFULL OUT THERE
