This is a place for a little bit of history of the New Orleans scene in the 1980's through the present. Granted I lost most of my tapes or they were destroyed during Hurricane Katrina in Aug of 2005 when I use to live in Chalmette, LA just 5 miles outside of New Orleans. When the Levees broke I had 15 feet of water sludge, mold and mildew sitting in my house for 3 weeks so that gives you an idea of what my collection of gig tapes that I shot over the years looked like when I was able to get in my place a month after the storm...
So little by little the stuff I can get back from friends or the actual tapes themselves will get posted here to preserve the rich historic underground scene that was spawned out of New Orleans and the surrounding towns.
