I cannot belive the things you said about Romeo Dallaire. He was a hero. His actions in Rwanda saved 20 000 lives, and he did all he could. He could hve stopped it if the U.N. gave him more supplies and solders. He aske the U.N. to take out the leader of the genocide and stop it before it happened, they said no. He asked the for more troops and supplies to evauate people, they said no. Then they told him to get out of Rwanda, and He said no.

To even suggest that Dallaire is a disgrace is terrible. He was n is a great hero. How about this, when youu go into o war zone and save 20 000 people, you can talk down to him. Until then, please stop making uneducated comments on forums where anyone can be exosed to your ignorance.

I would just say that people should be able to live their lives the way they want to. If they want to continue their native or ancestral lanuage, so be it. In America, people will diminish or attack your character you if they think you are thinking in an "Unamerican way." We don't convict our citizens of thought-crimes as North Korea does, but their is a (too strong of a) level of offical conformity.

And btw, America's history does not enclude Native America history. In fact, American history is extremely monolithic compared to how Europeans view their history-they are forced to look at their errors.
