A plane did hit the building. It was recorded live, I well remember seeing one of the planes hit one of the twin towers, whilst a fire man was being interviewed concerning the first plane. It was unreal to watch and the fire man and news reporter were more than visibly shocked.

What a load of nonsense. What would be the purpose of an object coming from outer space to flash at a plane? Lost its bearings, little martian dropped the map, went to pick it up, as you do, and steered to close to a passenger plane?

A piece of debri. Most certainly not alien life forms, far too small for one thing. Seeing that jet fighters are large, but not as large as a Jumbo Jet, the object, in comparison to the jets, is tiny.
