Is there a chance you could come back? I saw Lynn's "1,000 Islands" today, which is beautiful. It put a longing in my heart for your return. If you could only find a way.....I have the best memories of the glee I would feel inside when you posted a new song....magical music and pictures...so well done, with such respect and thoughtfulness.

Just read the news that Warner Brothers is allowing their material back on You Tube. Does this spell hope that The Lightfoot Tribute project might return? I, and certainly all of the subscribers, hope so.

Thanks, Tom, for your kind comment. Too bad we didn't know you were passing thru - coulda had fish and chips in South Baymouth while waiting for the ferry. Hope all is good in your life and that Summer is treating you well. I also hope that this experience with YT/WMG has not diminished your capacity for creativity and enjoying Gord's music. thomasj157--I just dropped by your channel to see if there was anything new. Imagine my surprise to see that you had just posted something 2 hours earler! I miss you and the Team so much. I eagerly looked forward to each new video, and it was because of your channel that I made a wonderful long distance friendship. Thanks guys. I have come back for a moment to pick the "flowers of recognition" planted by you who have taken time to revisit the site and leave a message. It is with great sadness that I read these messages - the dream that filled the hearts of the Lightfoot Tribute Team is a lingering nightmare. We were soldiers to the belief that our interpretations were contributions in the spirit of reasonable use of the recordings. Until next time

Hi there. I just found you through the channel of a new Canadian friend. I'm a fan of Gordon Lightfoot and was so excited to see what you had to offer. Imagine my disappointment when I saw you had been forced to remove all of your videos. This is truly unfortunate. I will keep my fingers crossed that you can once more showcase Mr Lightfoots work. I have been offline for several months now, and have returned to find out this heartbreaking news. Such a shame. The works that your team produced were just stunning and I so looked forward to each new one that would be next to come along. Here's hoping that you'll be able to return, and in the meantime, just want to say thanks so much for all the enjoyment from all of your efforts. I know I'm not the first or only one to say that you'll be deeply missed.
