I don' know if you drive yet, but I do and so can look at the situation from both prospectives. Cyclist can be silly at times, as can motorists, except the latter should remember that they are in a big hard metal box....
I agree that riding defensively is a good idea, but I think you should pull over a bit when the road dictates instead of doggedly sticking to your line.

Cycle craft and the highway code suggest that it is fine to ride two abreast at times, but I feel this is dangerous under ANY circumstances.... we each look after our safety our own way, and I don't think the "guides" are right all the time.
I've only ever hit three cars in my 20+ years riding on the road, and they were all my own fault (I must admit). At the same time, I have slapped cars when they have got too close and introduced them to my handlebar caps (big chunks of alloy) when I have felt I was in danger (as I feel to take my hand off the bars would be dangerous). So method of avoidance is fool proof (and there are a lot of fools out there).

The difference between where we ride might make a difference.... where I live is quite rural and there is not always a curb or a pavement and the roads can be quite narrow.
I suppose it may also make a difference that I ride a mountain bike.....
I always make space for myself when I need it, but keep as close to the curb/side of the road as possible when passing crossing/traffic light islands to make sure even large buses can get through.

I am a cyclist myself, but having watched quite a number of videos I think you could save yourself half the problems you have by riding a little closer to the curb. I'm not sure if it is just an effect due to the camera angle, but it looks like you are nearly always about 2 foot from away from it....

Great work on all the videos of moron drivers. I get very annoyed with them, especially arseholes that drive on the bloody phone. Just give them a good shouting at.

Nice vids, cheers. I'm a cyclist too and am planning to start videoing my rides .. just need to accumulate the cash to buy a good setup :) I think I need an Airzound 2 as well.

Keep up the good work - and I can see some other interesting channels I haven't seen yet from your subscriptions.
