About Thomas Grootoonk
"Thomas Grootoonk was born in Emmen, The Netherlands. The 26 year old studies Media Art at Academy Minerva, School for Fine Art & Design, in Groningen. Before he got started at Minerva he studied Psychology at the Rijks Universiteit Groningen. It was during these studies that he found out that he would rather spend his time doing something creative. The final decision to stop his studies at the RUG was made shortly after Thomas got gradually more interested in lucid dreams, or concious dreams. Now he loves experimenting with film and stop-motion animation."
