Australian songstress Rosaline Yuen has come a long way since her humble beginnings on the Melbourne music scene in 2005 and her acclaimed debut EP, 'Garden' in 2008.

'Garden' was released worldwide, and received a wealth of glowing reviews from audiences and critics alike with predictions of a fruitful career ahead.

In 2010, aside from Rosaline's highlight performance at the New Music Stage at the St Kilda Festival, she largely retreated from the live scene to focus on recording her first full length album. The result was 'Tiny Goddess' (a title inspired by French muse Francoise Hardy). Recorded in a little room above the Forum Theatre and Audrey Studios, this highly anticipated release features thirteen new songs. These include audience favourites 'After the Show', which was featured on popular Australian drama 'Underbelly: The Golden Mile' and 'Run' which will appear in Season 2 of television comedy 'Offspring' to air in 2011.

Behind the scenes Rosaline was supported by talented musicians Ian Kitney (Tim Rogers, Lisa Miller), Craig Pilkington (The Killjoys, Gurrumul), Bruce Haymes (Paul Kelly) and Owen Downie, whom together played everything from the Hammond to Autoharp to Ukelele.

As an artist, Rosaline is keen to show her versatility and push the creative boundaries, making her music difficult to pigeonhole. 'Tiny Goddess' is no exception. Rosaline draws inspiration from a range of influences like Martha Wainwright, Nancy Sinatra, the Ronettes, the Shirelles, Nina Simone, Feist and Nouvelle Vague Sonically, some describe Rosaline's sound as toe-tapping, playful, indie pop with a hint of 60s girl band quirk and a touch of jazz.

According to Rosaline " This recording says a lot about what I'm actually like - dreamy, romantic, flawed, quirky, direct and playful. In that way, I'd describe it as something really personal..."

In April 2011, Rosaline releases 'Tiny Goddess' through her own label thirtysixbird and Green/MGM.
