Putting a cycling HPS lamp on a 250W and later a 400W mercury-vapor ballast. Surprisingly it's still working.

This HPS lamp was used in a fixture meant for 100W SDW-T lamps. Since this lamp has a wattage of only 70 it failed within a year.
