The Zoup combine crunchy & powerful guitar melodies, authoritative vocals, signature drum rhythms & touches of ambiance in constructing their alluring spin on alternative rock.

A regular fixture in the local music scene, The Zoup have rattled unsuspecting audiences in venues up and down the country, venturing as far as Sydney's legendary Metro Theatre where the band thrived in Australasian band battle Emergenza in late 2008 during their first year. A national tour mid 2010 saw the band playing to receptive crowds in packed out venues.

With the release of the self titled EP in 2009, The Zoup demonstrated a penchant for creating songs with sonic & vocal depth with moments of calm & chaos all twisted together in an impressive & unpredictable debut offering.

Currently working with engineer James Wong (Shotgun Alley, Addison, Atlanta Fall), The Zoup are preparing to unveil their second EP; a polished number that promises to demonstrate a strong development in the musical maturity of the band. Full to the brim with brand new material, the highly anticipated debut album is also not far away.

Make sure you listen out for their upcoming single "One Shot"; bound to make you stand up and take notice of this band.
