The TV News said the local reservoir dam was leaking & going to burst. My neighbors all wanted boats to rescue their families. I had a good one ready to go, and sold for a huge profit just as the first waves came roaring down the street.

High Surf @ the Dunes

Thanks for the outstanding review. I love the nakeds, but I sold the Kawi Z1000 because it was too thirsty. The FZ6 was a bit too docile - so it was banished to Craigslist. This FZ8 slots nicely between the two - and should work out quite nicely.

Just a few words on the transmission: I liked the DSG in my MKV R32; but at that time the traditionalists were whining that they wanted their stick. The DSG is an entertaining and efficient tranny - and shifts faster than even the best driver. Flipside: there WERE reports of "issues" with the D...
