Steve's guitars were damaged in transit and rendered largely unreliable, going out of tune etc. That's why he bought that awful Firebrand as back up to his '74 white custom and (alleged) '54 black custom. The firebrand sounds naff & tinny especially at Winte...

There is also a Deltic on one episode of Yes Prime Minister, leaving Kings Cross. Also, in Quadrophenia, Jimmy visits a scrapyard and you can hear a Deltic revving past in the background.

that's nonsense about Glen playing on NMTB, he played on Anarchy only. Steve played bass on all the other tracks except for Bodies which Sid Useless played on, including a cock up at the beginning of the second verse when he slides up one semitone too far.
