About The Vancouver Project
The Vancouver Project are a punk band from Troy, New York. With influences of posthardcore, indie, and punk, they try to blend a sound that stands out from countless number of bands that mud the music industry. Making their live debut early 2011, the Vancouver Project surprised the small audience with the combination of fast, catchy, punk songs and an electrifying energy brought to a small café, proving themselves as a tough act to follow.
The Vancouver Project released their first DIY EP, titled "...Plus I've Got Depression," in March of 2011 to mostly positive feedback. The four tracks display the band's raw energy and emotion with the ability to craft simple melodies to create a unique sound that can be compared to bands such as the Alkaline Trio, Taking Back Sunday, and New Found Glory.
Entertainment and professionalism are the most important thing to the band. Be it one person or a hundred thousand people to impress, the Vancouver Project will bring the same level of energy and fun to anything they do. Be sure to check out the band's live shows any chance that you get. I promise you won't be sorry.
