The Valve' was launched in the mid-90s based on a design initiative by Galeazzo Frudua, the renowned Italian luthier, and since 1988, founder and owner of Frudua Guitar Works, one of the leading electric guitar woskshops in Italy and frudua.com portal.
In 2001, upon the completion of a prolonged phase of rigorous product development and testing, Galeazzo Frudua entrusted the development and manufacturing of the product range to TBE, a Bologna based electronics manufacturing specialist whose clients include important stylists, banks and
government institutions.
The Valve design philosophy is a mix of the application of modern technology and "point to point" hand wiring.
All of 'The Valve' amps are hand-crafted and finished to the
highest levels of quality control in a facility in San Lazzaro, a town in the province of Bologna, in the north of Italy. Here a team of musicians and technicians leverage their unrivaled experience and expertise in ' tube' technology to produce these boutique style amplifiers.
The company is deeply involved in every stage of amplifier production from initial design to final assembly and quality control. All amplifiers are CE and UL compliant.
