About The Urban Shadows
We are a group of Traceurs/Free Runners in Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill and Rye - on the south east coast of England. The group was founded in late 2005 and has seen many members join, stay and unfortunately leave over the years.
Parkour is the discipline of overcoming obstacles with fluid, efficient and most importantly, safe movement. Speed is not an aim, it is a by product. The purpose behind Parkour is to be able to get yourself out of a dangerous situation or to get to someone else who is in danger to help.
Aswell as Parkour (Free Running), alot of our members practice tricking, such as tumbling, somersaults and flips.
