Hot and sweaty rock and roll - the kind that has sounded at home everywhere from the front bar of the local to the worlds largest arenas since the 70s. the temps are its latest exponents, and though they mightnt be rockin stadiums just yet, you mightve been lucky enough to catch them bringing their original dose of classic hard rock to any one of Adelaides finest live music venues.
Quickly establishing a stable of original tracks that feel right at home next to the odd cover of Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and co, the temps headed to the studio in August 2006 to put 5 of their finest on record. This State of Mind Demo quickly sold through its first production run, and another is pressing is being planned.
What makes all this so impressive, however, is that the temps have managed all this while still finishing school. Thats right the four members of the temps are only 16 and 17 years old. Barely old enough to drive and too young to buy their own drinks, the temps prove rock knows no age barrier.
The boys have been feverishly writing tracks and playing gigs to literally capacity crowds - some so packed out that security has unfortunately had to turn punters away.
Dont let the name fool you the temps are here to stay
