HIM Karaoke/Voice Cancellation
Using Realtek AC'97, I've made karaoke/voice cancellations of HIM songs. It is this band (and others) that inspired me to learn & teach guitar & drums.
Don't get me wrong. I love Villie Valo's voice & his style of singing. I think he has the BEST singing voice out of my favorite bands, perhaps of any band but that's just my opinion and not intended to be an insult to any other band or their fans.
What I really like about HIM in general is that whether it was intended or not (I'll go with the latter for now), they have proven that a rock/metal band can be successful, make and release albums, and etc without having loud obnoxious vocals and screaming and everything else a rock/metal band is known for. They're soft, melodic singing and playing is just fine and relaxing for me. YEs they have hard stuff too, but not always. Their hard (For U, Cyanide Sun) stuff get me energized while their soft melodic ones (Gone WIth The Sin), Sacrament) keep me relaxed. Songs that I feel have a balance between soft & hard (I Love U, Salt In Our Wounds) keep me balanced between being energized & relaxed. They are THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD! LONG LIVE HIM. I have ALL versions of ALL their albums. Cant wait for the new one.
