The Swears are a new project from Rachel Grainger-Jones and David Welton of Flyin Ike.

Formed in mid-2008, they have already written and recorded a mini-album called 'The Coming Storm' and are currently working on new music. So far they have been compared to the B52s, Talking Heads, Moldy Peaches and Mogwai.
