Imagine your life is like the movie; The Truman show (where the character's life (played by Jim Carrey) is a reality-TV show where everything in his life has been scripted, everyone is an actor and the very world he lives in is actually a very large movie-set), but in this case, the only thing controlled in your world is the colour red.

You never see the colour red. As far as you've been taught, the rainbow goes OYGBIV. Its the only controlled variable in your life.

Imagine your life has been like this all the way to your current age right now, and whilst minding your own business at the bus stop, some little old lady sitting on the other side of the bench tells you that there is this OTHER colour and that its called red.

Without "seeing" it for yourself it will be utterly impossible for you to comprehend such a thing right?
(bare with me here, I'm aware that to control such a variable is impossible)

What would you do if that lady told you that this "red" was FREE to "see" and she appeared to be a perfectly sane, harmless sweet old lady and that in order to see; you only needed to 'try a certain* thing' or 'to give something* a chance' wherein doing such a thing leaves you nothing but potential GAINS?

*not a substance.

Would you honestly give it a fair effort knowing what the conditions were to "see" ie: FREE?

This is analogy is parallel to REAL Christianity.

I've seen enough "red" to be confident enough that it is real and the only Truth.

You're next question might be "Give me an example of 'red' " and thats just the thing: Without "seeing" it for yourself it will be utterly impossible for you to comprehend such a thing right?

How long would it take you to describe what a dog looks like to a person who lost their vision due to a disease (curable) as an infant?

They will never know what the dog looks like unless they are able to SEE for themselves right? ie: get their eyes cured.

(I go to the length to describe the blind person in that manner to prevent the insinuation that one cannot regain their vision ie: If I said "a person born blind" that insinuates that the person obviously is incapable of seeing; which would mean in this analogy that they are incapable of understanding Christianity entirely. I do not think of unbelievers to be diseased blind people that refuse to "get cured". Just to clarify )

Ever been in a situation where something HILARIOUS happened and when you tried to share it with friends you end up saying "You just had to have been there!" ?

Why do you think almost* all Christians nod their heads when one says among them "I know Jesus is real...just**..from what I have experienced" ?

Theres a reason for this!

What do you think the chances are of Christians all around the world having the same "delusion" as atheism labels and yet they all relate to each other?

* I say 'almost' because not all Christians (ie new ones) can recall on such a thing.
** I made the gap "...just.." to indicate that the person tries to explain, battles to articulate, realises that its difficult to explain and just says "from what I have experienced". It's not a hesitation in not knowing what to say!
