The greatness of the RickRoll is that it's a great song, but still somehow embarrassing when you get Roll'd.

Most music after the 1950s was in the same genre: song. (Genre used to mean the structure of the musical piece, not differences of style.) And it usually uses the same two modes: major and minor.

So - all this bitching about minor differences of style in metal confuses me. This is fucking good ...

The elec' guitar tone was so bad back then, I would not have listened to this track had it not been such an energetic version of the song. That's a compliment to Nugent.

I liked the slower tempo on the demo, but I like the clarity of the remix and the extra (or maybe just more pronounced) guitar layer.

This music is so boring, people have to argue about God in the comments to keep entertained while listening to it.

How do people get away with playing the exact same song for four years? This genre is the new pop punk.

@hassi44 - Toward the end of his life Nietzsche grew very disillusioned with German culture and began claiming that his family was Polish but adopted a German name. But some scholars argue that he was wrong or lying about his genealogy. So I'm not sure.

@Emannikcufesin - Since you opened the genre snob can, I'll finish it. This is new rock, a little harder. Not metal. Listen to everything from Black Sabbath onward in metal and this will not fit any of it. Listen to '70s hard rock and it will.
