The Spektrum arose in October 2005 by the hands of Dyrion -- Vocals, Engraved - Guitars, Zouza - Bass, Abigor - Guitars, and Lulu - Drums. The band started to play Thrash Metal, in January 2006, the band decided to change their style. Samnu joined in as the keyboarder and the band started composing new stuff, a more melodic metal. In May 2006, Lulu left the band for personal reasons, Samnu left the keyboard and started playing drums and Abigor started playing both guitar and keys. The Spektrum achieved the final line-up, Dyrion -- Vocals, Engraved -- Guitars, Zouza -- Bass, Abigor -- Keys and Guitars and Samnu -- Drums. Late in July 2006, The Spektrum entered in studio and recorded "Marching Through The Darkness". "Marching Through The Darkness" was released in October 2006 and received positive critiques at the worldwide underground metal scene. In the summer of 2007, the band started pre-producing the debut album, "Daemonicus Awakening" in their own studio, and started later recording their debut album at the Medusa Lab Studios with producer Dikk (WithBreed) and Ares (WitchBreed) assisting, the album was mastered by Waldemar Sorychta. Beggining 2009 the band signed a record deal with label NoiseHead Records from Austria for the release of "Daemonicus Awakening". During the promotion of "Daemonicus Awakening", The Spektrum shared stages with bands like: Hanzel und Gretyl; Decayed; Desire; Benediction; Gwydion; Finntroll; Destruction; Draconian; The Rotted, Hollocausto Cannibal; among many others.
In the beggining of 2010, Engraved, Zouza and Dyrion started the composition and pre-production of the new album at "Dark Lake Studios" (the bands studio), later that year, October, Samnu and Abigor left the band. In November The Spektrum traveled to Sweden to record the second album, "Regret of the Gods" with producer Magnus "Devo" Andersson (Marduk) at Endarker Studio.
"Regret of the Gods" will be released on 8th April in Europe by NoiseHead Records.
