The Songbroker is a music publishing company, that specializes in Project Management.

Project management is the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.

The Songbroker was founded by yours truly, Darren Staten. I was a past winner and finalist for the Canadian National Songwriting contest, and I also had some success running a small indie Pop record label (Synergy Records).

I also have had numerous TV credits, for songs I wrote and/or co-wrote, that aired on networks like ABC, MTV, VH1, and TLC.

Two of my labels releases (Kelly Brock and Carmelina Cupo), were nominated for "Best Pop Albums", for the Canadian West Coast Music Awards, against Major Label Artists like Nelly Furtado...go figure?

Who do you think won?

Hey, it was just a thrill to get those nominations for my artists,...and I was just glad that my marketing budget of $845.32 for each release, was obviously well spent!

You see my talent, is not just recognizing musical talent. More importantly, I have a talent and vision, of finding ways to help musical talent achieve their goals, no matter what resources they have.

I provide the tools, for unsigned musical talent (Artists, Songwriters, Producers), to help get their music heard.

Some of the FREE services I offer for talented unsigned Artists, Producers, and Songwriters all over world include:

* Help with marketing thier music to Labels and Managers

* Help with improving their songwriting, or arranging co-writing

* Help with recording songs

* Help with developing a strategy, to accomplish thier musical goals
