I know now of days, almost everyone around the world hates the United States. Very disrespectful comments are left on videos such as our anthem, or on other videos related to the U.S.A. However, i'm not going to retaliate by going to the anthem of the country from which the person who insulted us came from, and leaving a comment just as bad as what they put. If i did this, i'm no better than the scum that insulted my country. I'm only going to target the person who insulted, because i know that if i attack a country, i'm attacking it's people, when not everyone is bad. However, that's what i feel many people around the world fail to notice when they insult the U.S.A. Okay, if you don't like our Gov't fine! i don't agree with some of it either, nobody says you can't disagree! However, when you go on to the anthem and insult the whole country, you are insulting the nation as a whole. The people of the U.S.A are hardworking, and we don't mean to hurt anyone. Much on the contrary, we are one of the biggest aid donors in the world. Many people say Americans are ignorant, fat, lazy, and arrogant. If any of this was true, then why has the U.S.A become a world power in only 300 years of existence? The truth is, with God's help of course, We have fought for our freedom and our status! Some say we are ignorant, and i would be a liar to say that everyone in the U.S.A is smart, however, i would also be a liar to say everyone is ignorant. I'm sure, no matter what country you may come from, that you have your handful of ignorant people as well. For example, i see that the Europeans do know many languages, and are educated in the ways of other nations customs. However, if you travel 300 miles in Europe, you are more than likely going to cross several cultures with their own language and customs. Therefore, knowing other languages and world events is almost unevitable. Here in the U.S.A, our country being so vast, you travel 300 miles, you may find a different accent of English, but our customs are the same, making it less neccesary to know foreign things. That being, many Americans are well educated in foreign criteria. I for example know English (Obviously), Spanish, Italian, and i'm currently learning French, and i'm only 15 years old. I can honestly tell you i know the Capital of every country in the world, and i am well educated in foreign affairs. Do i need to know all of this, no, but i choose to learn it, as do so many other Americans. Alot of the ignorance about the U.S.A is largely based on the media, so please don't just look at your local news, and asume that the U.S.A is a bad country. Yes we have fat people, but so do you!!!!! if you say you don't, you are a darn dirty liar! if this was true, why does the U.S.A have the most Olympic medals out of any other country? Yes we have Mcdonalds eating slugs, but they are few ( not to offend, but most of these people are illegal mexicans ). Yes we are in a ressesion, but so are you! it's Global, and their are far more many countries with a worse situation then us. Even with the ressesion, people here still eat, have clean water, and most of us have money left over to spend. Thank god we are blessed this way, and we don't forget about the less fortunate areas of the world ( Africa, south east Asia, ect. ). If you see a homeless person, it is completly their falts, here, everyone has an opportunity. It's not like in many othe places where living in the streets is not an option. lastly, American people are not Stupid. Some are, but not all. the U.S.A has the most nobel prize winners, and has claimed more awards then any other nation for any kind of scientific acheivment. We have given the world many things. The computer, for example, is largely credited to Japan. Yes, they are technologicly advanced, but the first computer was created in Silicon Valley, California ( look it up if you don't beleive me ). To sum it up, please don't trash talk my country, because just like you, everyone has a right to be proud of where they come from. I love the U.S.A, and i thank God i was born here! As you probably do, wherever you are from. instead of just trash talking and beleiving the media, look up some facts for yourself. God Bless America, and all of her great Allies!!!
