First Off, before I go any further let me start by thanking God,My Fam, & My Friends....Now back to me!!
My name is Broderick Young Jr. BKA (Lil Brock, Brock,& BJ) I was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on December 9,1987 So I`m 22.I Have 2 Tattoos one on my arm(Microphone w/ Crown) and one on my neck I`m African American. I have 3 Siblings Stephon(21), Brandon(20) & Victoria (5)...
Now the moment you all have been waiting for Lol...I get to talk about my favorite thing in the whole wide world !!!!!MUSIC!!!!! I have been singing for a long time now...I came out the womb singing, but seriously I Sung my first song for my grandmother at the ripe young age of 4 at her Love Service at Evangalist Center Church Of God In Christ. In fact, if it weren't for both of my Loving & Kind Grandmother`s (Rojean Young & Bettie Oscar) influence, I would not be where I am today. Music has played a huge part of my whole life, I would have much preferred to be out with my family, running the streets of Saint Louis, but my grandmother`s, singers themselves, who introduced me to the sounds of Shirley Caesar, The Winans, James Cleveland, Rev. Milton Brunson and other gospel legends, wouldn't have it any other way.As a talent,many people have told me I have all the polish and charisma of Usher with all the soulful street edge of Jaheim. My new songs which I have wrote are inspired by my real life experiences. I have always been about taking care of business, when I wasn't able to work, and wanted to sing, I lived in front of the mic hours at a time. After a period of struggling, I made a turn in my career and really began to focus on writing putting my artist ambitions aside. While it was a hard decision on what type of music I should sing....The attacks of 9/11 sent the recording industry into a downward spiral. Which really threw my dreams of pursuing a music career in the BIG APPLE (New York)Yet I am determined to continue. And now I`m ready now than ever before with a New Life, New Voice, New Look, and New Style. Watch Out Because I`m hittin the scene hard with Hit Records.
