The Silent Coup was created as a response to the increasing amount of dull, uninspired, unoriginal music being churned out by the mass-market machine on a daily basis. While still holding true to the original laws of Jungle-based music - breakbeats, deep subs and psychadelic ambience - The Silent Coup is exploring the new realms of the post-jungle era; pushing the mental envelope in an attempt to covertly undermine the tyranical pop-music establishment.
The collective is also home to a new breed of audio manipulation and rhythmic investigation; probing the boundaries of the full spectrum of electronic music, pushing the evolution of sound to the next stage of existence.
