A complaint from many of my clients during my 18 years as a hairstylist is that the hair gels they use make their scalps itchy and/or greasy, and leave flakes. They ask me to recommend a gel, but generally tell me they already have tried whichever one I suggest, and still had the same problems.

So I researched how gels are made. Then, experimenting with different combinations of ingredients, I began to suspect that the alcohol in most gels was drying the hair as it evaporates, and that oils many contain were clogging the follicles. These ingredients have some benefits, but for many people who use gels that have them, the problems they cause are worse than any good they can do.

For such people, I designed Habreu's Vitamin Hair Gel as a vitamin-based, alcohol and oil-free product. As I hoped, the clients I asked to try it no longer had itching, flaking or greasiness as they previously did..

My Gel has a mainly natural recipe that literally "nourishes" the hair and scalp. Not only does it prevent itching etc, but most peoples' hair and scalp tend to respond very positively to its gentler, less "chemical" basis. It leaves most hair (especially dry, brittle hair) exceptionally manageable, while reducing split ends and sealing the hair cuticle.
