The Ruze formed in August of 2005, and have brought together their influences from Jet to Prince, The Raconteurs to Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age to Blondie, to create an alternative rock sound all their own. From their early days they showed energy and intensity, especially in live shows, and the effort and commitment they have made over the last 4 years has helped them refine their sound even further. Some of their major shows to date include the HUBs in Sheffield, The Bannerdale Centre, The Workstation, The Boardwalk (the venues youngest band ever), Dry Bar & Jabez Clegg in Manchester, The Woodseats Festival, Barnsley Original Music Festival, Bar Abbey and too many acoustic sets to name. The band are currently in the studio working on several tracks set to be released in the coming months on CD and digital download.
