The Bells create distinct dynamic and melodic rock.Established as the Ruling Party in 2005 Jen Sencion (vocals) from NYC and Steve Mostyn (bass) from Sydney, Australia, had been busy creating a buzz in the New York underground club scene. For the first half of 2006, the band has been busy writing, recording, and exposing their unique and independently released 7-song EP to local audiences. The reaction and review of the band's initial release has been astounding, so much so, that the band has has decided to revisit the studio to write, record, and release new tracks to add to their already powerful and emotional music arsenal.
In July 2006, The Ruling Party was invited to the studios of the nationally televised indie rock show, Fearless Music. Their live performance included several of their signature tunes - No Place To Hide, If We Had Yesterday and Now You Know. These performances will be aired in October 2006 and throughout the fall season.
Additionally, The Ruling Party has been a spotlight artist through Sonicbids and recently received a stellar review in The Unsigned Music Magazine receiving 5 out of 5 rankings in all categories!
Be Sure to check out The Bells myspace site to keep abreast of their live performance schedule and latest news on its members, their musical endeavors, and many collaborations with some of today's hottest artists in rock, pop, and R&B. The Bells are currently in the studio and will be releasing their debut record around mid summer.
