Chris "Nashvillerocker®" DiMella was raised in Miami, Florida. He started playing guitar as a young boy in the 3rd grade.
In the 80's, Chris began studying jazz with many well-known and respected University of Miami players, including
John Defaria, Mitch Farber, Andy Most, and Glenn Minneau.
After high school Chris was accepted to the prestigious Berklee School of Music. He left Berklee to study with esteemed University of Miami professor Randall Dollahon.
