About The Queen Sheba Show

Someone said to me, not so long ago, after commissioning me to organize and plan their show;"...I gave you creative control but I don't want this to turn into the Queen Sheba show..."

I was motivated, as we should be by our nemesis' continuous thoughts on how to bring us down...well...you know what they say, when life gives you lemons you make Long Island Ice Tea!

Hah! I'm a genuinely a happy person, all the time. Of course I have my bad moments but they turn into great songs and amazing works of poetry!

So, when I realized how cool that sounded "The Queen Sheba Show" I decided to name my YouTube page that and I will be creating a TV Show and Event around my birthday in '09 called The Queen Sheba Show!

Queen Sheba: Atlanta based Spoken-Soul-Hip Rock-Alternative-Word-Genius. Bringing class with an attitude back to Hip Hop. A breath of fresh air since Lauryn Hill. With a music video on BET-J and VH1 Soul, her recent performance on BETs Lyric Café constantly running, so is she. Shebas 5 th album 'Domino Affect' with several celebrity cameos was released in stores and on iTunes Sept 8 07 and has already charted thousands, with record labels liking her for the first female Spoken Word artist with a major distribution deal, 2 new music videos, several magazine appearances and rave reviews to boot.

In addition to her recently television appearance(s), Sheba graced the stages of BET's 106 & Park and the Apollo, VH-1 and many other multi-media venues. Queen Sheba has performed in venues in 7 countries and 4 continents including her recent tour last October in Amsterdam and London. One of the few female Hip Rock artists that have graced West Africa 's PanaFest in Ghana, Toronto, Canada, 3 Europe Tours, with another scheduled tour for this Spring. Her devout following of Hip-Hop and Spoken Word enthusiasts allow Sheba to continue hosting successful weekly venues in Atlanta.

Add her live band Tempo 160 and enjoy a night you wouldnt expect! Band members have resumes longer than you can hold your breath waiting for the next hit from these amazing artists. They have played with Prince, Tupac, Ne-Yo, Julie Dexter, Rolling Stones 100 songs for Kids and have performed on stages with several platinum recording artists, including Alicia Keys, The Roots and Kanye West.

With up to 10 personalities on stage, fans leave the Tempo 160 experience feeling empowered and energized. Rolling from modern rock, into Spoken Word, fusing Hip-Hop with snippets of anyone from Jay-Z, The Fray, Maroon 5 or Tracey Chapman sensory overload has sent onlookers from screaming passion to tears in a matter of seconds. Queen Shebas lead and amazing stage presence fused with her ability to control the emotions of a coliseum of thousands or a small venue of a few hundred have 100s of thousands of fans asking why they arent signed to a big record label. Big, is relative said Sheba. We have toured several countries and havent spent a minute starving or wondering about our purpose. We are destined and destiny is personal.

Nick Chahwala from major rock band To Whom (formerly To Whom it May Concern) produced Shebas latest album, Domino Affect and said that he was looking for something fresh and found Shebas music on MySpace. After we met the first time, I knew it was going to be an electric experience. She is an amazing artist. A mystic of alternative raspy voices amazing vocals and music arrangement is a refreshing way to spend an evening listening to live music.
