Are you a non-profit organization in the greater Los Angeles area? Do you need a car? If so, The People's Fleet is here for you.

This summer, The People's Fleet™ is returning to LA. Ford Motor Company is providing 4 non-profit organizations in the greater Los Angeles area with their own 2012 Ford Focus, a team of filmmakers and a platform for financial empowerment from the Ford Fund for 3 months.

Transportation needs will be met, stories captured and shared, and communities activated.

This is how it breaks down:

April 15th: Get your applications in for an opportunity to be awarded a 2012 Ford Focus, a team of filmmakers and a platform for financial empowerment from the Ford Fund for 3 months.

May 8th: Hurry up! This is the last day to submit your application.

May 15th: The 4 winners are announced and The People's Fleet™ hits the streets. The selected organizations will need YOUR help to advance their immediate initiatives. If your organization was not selected, or you are just learning about The People's Fleet, there is still an opportunity to be awarded a 2012 Ford Focus for 1 month. Check back May 15th to apply for a car in the fall.

August 15th: Everyone is invited to The People's Fleet™ culmination event. We will announce the good work completed by the 4 organizations and the community as well as award the Ford Fund Empowerment Grants.

August 1st - November 1st: Each month, we will be awarding a new organization with a 2012 Ford Focus and platform to broadcast their good work.
