Best song they ever recorded still to this day one of my all time favorites! Everyone who has had a break up on either side can relate to this song and it's lyrics. Morning noon and night it's just not right that they never had the backing when they so deserved and needed to be heard!!

Music like this makes you understand the statementI It"s not who you are but who you know" I have all their albums and they had the talent and I am sure they had the drive.

Sorry the best rendition of this song is Al Kooper when he was the lead singer of Blood Sweat & Tears. Their first album entitled "Child is the Father to the Man" includes this and there is not a bad song on either side.

Saw them play live once they were as we used to say "tight" The Truth was a hit song that never made it and this version of this song is one of the better ones I have heard.

A great group that never got the exposure they deserved.. If htye did there might be a play on Broadway about them !

I got his 45 from a girl I dated from Wantagh he had a great voice and I remember she sang with a local girl group. Her name was Linda her brother was Frankie Love (not real name) he was a great talent sorry he never made it still love "First Star"

I heard this songa and knew it was gonna be a hit. I rushed to buy the 45 and it never took off but then some D.J flipped it over and She Cired went up up and away. I still think Dawning is the better side.

This is their best song I could not get it out of my head when I heard it. Sounds as great today as it did in the 60's.
