The Oskar is the latest solo sensation in electro-pop, and his story is as unlikely as you'll ever hear. An expatriated Russian - who at one point lived in the Caucasus - The Oskar followed his dreams at age 15 and moved to Moscow, literally knocking on doors in an attempt to get discovered. And it worked: he was soon signed to a Russian label, and, while still in his teens, was already on top of the national charts with his 1 hit "Between Me and You." He spent these early years shocking, captivating and entertaining Russian audiences, sometimes as large as 100,000.
