I think they made these units up until 1987. I have seen one with that date as well, but I think Fedders was making them for GE from 1985 till 1987. If you want to sell this one feel free to message me. I would love a 3rd one.

Well. The problem seems to be that your unit is over charged. It's cycling off on a high pressure switch in the compressor. And Puron is a high pressure freon, and will cause this. Lucky the compressor did not burn up, had it not been for the protective high pressure control.

To add insult to injury. It looks like whoever installed this unit did not do a very good job at all, yes I said Goodman was junk, but it would sure help a little if it was installed right, heck the suction line is not even properly insulated LOL. Looks like a real dumb ass installed this thing...
