About Newtones
Newtones is a student run a cappella group in Newton South High School.
Recent News:
Newtones wins 2nd place at the International Championship of High School A Cappella Semi Finals with 359 points. Also winners of best vocal percussion (Jonah David '09), best choreography (Chanee Park (Han Park) '08), and best arrangement (Joel Esher '03).
Newtones records their arrangement of "Evaporated" with artist Ben Folds for his University A Cappella CD in stores now. They opened for Ben Folds and Sara Bareilles in April 2009 with this arrangement at MIT.
