The Mandibles

The Mandibles are a seven piece band from Bath, UK. Since 2007 they have been busy touring the European club and festival circuit, building up a loyal following in the process. Their performances vary from eccentric, high energy festival shows to mellow acoustic performances, blending Jazz, Gypsy Swing, Ska, Blues, Tango, Rock, World Music and Psychedelia. Many of their song's subject matter is drawn from 'Lobster Town Tales', a comic book story following the nautical adventures of 'Captain Claibourne', written by front man Graeme Smith.

For the last few years the band have performed at hundreds of venues and enjoyed success at festivals in Italy, France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, including performing on The Avalon Stage at Glastonbury Festivals. The band are currently in the studio, taking time out from gigs to finish their as yet unnamed début album.
