About this user

when i was young , i fished steelhead in Ontario on the grate lake system. i became totally obsessed ! reading all i could and studying the life history of these fish , I ran away from home at a early age,to seek out the summer steelhead on the other side of our great country, after catching my first Skamania steelhead .I was 16 while living in a wall tent on the Campbell , reading mr browns book, I headed to the Gold and Heber rivers . i have been exploring the big island, and the coastal mountains by foot, boat, plain and chopper , to find this magnificent fish in its native waters.The steelhead is my spirit guide in this life and has lead me down many rivers to where i am today .
along my way i have fallen in love with another fish , the coastal cutthroat of the sunshine coast .i have spent many years studying the cutthroat in the sea , as well as the back country of the sunshine coast lakes and rivers. both the sea run cutthroat and the larger lake fish have captured me for years . i spend alot of time studying the life of these large ,kokanee eating lake fish and there habits ,feeding and migration patterns,and still have lots to learn .
I have a blue collar, fly fishermans crash pad-hostel , for the totally obsessed on my farm where fisherman from all around come to stay ,tie flies ,bullshit, and fish the lakes in the coastal mountains behind my home for these wonderful fish .please injoy my vids....they are raw and unedited, and i apologize if any language offends . ......patches-d
