The Little Review is a new-wave/rock band from Amsterdam, Breda and Bergen op Zoom. The four-headed band has been actively making music since August 2005. The Little Review is known for its 'catchy' tunes, specific sound and 'less is more' pure music.

The band consists of Timothy Maurer (vocals, 2nd guitar), Gert-Jan Schouten (lead guitar), Jasper Stuart (bass guitar) and Laurens van Borssum Waalkes (drums).

Inspired by new-wave bands like Joy Division, Interpol and Editors, The Little Review has build their own repertoire, that's dark and atmospherical but also danceable.

In 2010 they released there new EP called: 'Anatomy of Beasts and Beauties'. The EP contains four self-written and -composed songs. The Little Review is a band that lives for playing live shows which are being visited by a vastly growing group of fans.

With this new EP in pocket and a growing reputation The Little Review is determined to build a solid name for themselves throughout the country.
