Dear Parents,
I would like to say you are some of the best people in our lives and we love you very much. Please do not forget that growing up can really suck. There are many things going on that may make our lives crappy such as school or friends.
When we are stressed out ask your child if they would like to talk about what's on their mind and if they say no just lay off.
When you see your child getting frustrated over their homework make them a healthy snack like unbuttered unsalted popcorn, apple slices, even ants on a log (celery sticks with peanut butter and raisins), etc. and sit next to them and help out. If they say no just say ok, leave the food, and walk away. Ten minutes later we will ask for help.
Please also remember that we may be dealing with sexuality issues for example: Sexual Orientation, Sexual Identity, and/or sex with our boyfriends/girlfriends. Please encourage your kids to talk openly about their identity or orientation (if they are Gay/Bisexual/Transgendered do not send them away or try to make them a heterosexual, they will end up hating you for the rest of their lives. If you think being gay/bi/trans is a sin just please leave your views on the bible and not on the kids) .
If you suspect your kids are already sexually active talk to you kids about safe sex. If your kids are still virgins encourage your them to wait until they feel ready (it's highly unlikely that we will wait until we are married).
