An energetic and passionate individual who works as a Lifestyle Expert and Personal Empowerment Coach.
Working in the early eighties at advertising agency Bartle, Bogle, Hegarty, Garth set up and ran the internal design studio where he remained for over 12 years, he also set up and ran his own multi agency based in London's Carnaby Street.
It was during a period of intense professional and personal change that the concept of The Lifestyle Guy came to mind...which made Garth realise it was his daily gym and kickboxing workouts and the accompanying feelings of confidence gain, calm and being centred that were the "true passions" of his life and really "The Secret" to his early successes.
This led to his new career path working as a personal trainer, kickboxing instructor and nutritionist with a large and successful client base around Kensington, Chelsea, Mayfair and Knightsbridge and he also taught kickboxing at many London gyms.
He then created his corporate workshops on "Women's Awareness and Personal Safety"
which are "not self defence classes" as he much preferred the idea of "safety through awareness" and not getting into that situation in the first place, although he will teach you a few "funky moves" and role play that require no strength or special technique that anyone can use regardless of size to "buy themselves two seconds" to get to a place of safety.

This was also the beginning of something else as in every workshop he talked more and more about body language and the message that you're "unconsciously" sending out.

Therefore another workshop was added to The Lifestyle Guy arsenal which is a half day course centred around body language, rapport building, essential communication skills, eye movement and the different modalities that individuals operate in and how to recognise those signals and be able to communicate much more effectively with not only your work colleagues but also use these essential skills in your everyday life as well.

Garth is also an experienced "Weight Management Coach" and worked exclusively and successfully with a London Evening Standard journalist and runs programmes for groups or individuals.

The Lifestyle Guy is a title that simply encompasses all his lifetime skills, his business experience, management techniques, kick boxing, personal training, nutrition, life coaching, NLP and hypnotherapy and puts them all under one succinct umbrella.

It also utilises all the techniques, skills and strategies he personally used to pull himself out of the darkness and make his life a success again.
Some people seem to have a natural charm, confidence and people skills, but interpersonal skills can be taught and enhanced with The Lifestyle Guy.
