Alex Brachet is a professional Classical/Jazz pianist and Fusion Rock Guitar & Keyboard player.

He was born in the south of france and started to play piano at 4 years old.

He studied music in high superior French Conservatory for 11 years, and obtained his master prices and gold medals at 18 years old, in classical piano, chamber music and theory/harmony. He's got two other prices in composition and jazz music.

During the conservatory, he worked with P.Pradier (CZIFFRA's Student) and E.Moguilevsky.(Tchaikovsky Competition Winner)

He started to play guitar alone at 14 years old, inspired by great performers like Jimmy Hendrix, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and Yngwie Malmsteen.

After different works with a lot of bands, and recording sessions for some artists, he composed, recorded, and produced his first album " Experimental Fusion".

In October 2007, Alex Brachet has been chosen by the manager in a selection of 15 bands and performers, to realize the first part of
The Devil's Slingshot - (STEVE VAI BAND)
Tony MacAlpine, Billy Sheehan and Virgil Donati during the french tour of the band.

In September 2008,he have been Finalist of the Native Instrument Guitar Rig Hero Contest,
Guitar Rig Hero pits real guitarists against each other on YouTube.
Guitarists in the contest will be judged by real guitarists, not by audience ratings on your console game.
Celebrity judges include Dweezil Zappa, Stephen Carpenter (Deftones), Brett Garsed, Justin Meldal-Johnson, and YouTube sensation Gustavo Guerra, among others.

In May 2009, ive been semi finalist of the Guitar Idol 2009 Worldwide guitar competition.
