the Jah Band ( pronounced yah ) is a band of humans , angels, some seen and some unseen , that was concieved in 2006 , but have been writing songs of this style on and off since the 80's , this " reggaia", band which means earth friendly inspiring songs and music , mostly acoustic instruments are used with the exception of the keyboards.bass and ..the occasional electric lead guitar...but basically acoustic , ........at this point in time has one main member and many part time members at the present and are ready to release the first cd called "New Release" in march 2010and also the "IYUAHH" cd in May 2010 ... .the message is ..dont blow your mind,,,,its an illusion...... fill your heart instead...............its a drug free high ..... dont pollute your sky, .. keep heart and mind clear .....
...........dont hide away in fear..............dont create pollution............., you be the solution ,

.......... latest news is were back in the recording studio for the second album....... yay......( hmmm i dont think we ever got out of the studio from the time of the first album. .....second albums name is.......oh we are not allowed to say yet but it has to do with you and me.................hang on a minute... the first cd has only just been finished and is being released shortly(march 2010 )....ah well .......on we go......songs are a living message......
.....musical influences include.... john, paul, george and ringo, bob marley.....the police....sting.......men at work ( thankyou Colin Hay )........my brother matty and gabrielle and many others....
.... our mascott is DogStar ( a cool dude and mans best friend dedicated to spreading the message of love and unity ), our songs are about the earth, humanity, God source, peace and kindness , awareness and love. We have a song on the "Realn'Raw" soundtrack called "fruit for our children" and is available on the www.realnraw.com website................. oh and me, ? ...i find that it is nice to skip instead of run. . . i find thats what reggaia music does for me, . . . it has a joy in its beat . . . .i feel in my heart that this is what true reggae music is, . . its the joy of skipping instead of running. . try skipping to your next business meeting and see how you feel.... . .oh and i am a vegan, . . . .not because of its incredible healthy benefits, . . . its because i dont want to chomp on any living animal or cause any suffering among any animals and fellow sentient beings of this earth.. . . . the plant kingdom is humble and reay to be of full service to humanity in a way that benefits the conciousness of both human and plant....when true grattitude is given to the plant kingdom the food we eat keeps us alive and creative . . . and full of inspiration......live and raw food is probably best, . . but I'm not completely raw food, .......about 75% raw.......try not to cook the living daylights / essence out of food or burn it or smoke it or distort it at all . . . . we become what we eat...we ingest through all our senses . . . the mouth is just one avenue that we feed ourselves . . . what we take in through our eyes is like sight food . . what we take in through our ears is like sound food and so on through the six plus centres.... feed your world......love love love to all.... thankyou for being here today.. . . . . .it is such an honour . . .all life is sacred . . ......
