About Me:

I made this page to show off my ig. I got her almost 2 years ago, I believe she is 2.5 years old and is a little over 3 feet long.

Iguanas can be tough animals to keep if not cared for and handled properly. If you do your research beforehand on their specific needs, behavior, and temperament, it is possible to have a truly wonderful pet iguana. It takes work, but can be well worth it.

My current pets in order of when I got them:
Female bearded dragon 5 years old
Male uromastyx mali 3.5 years old
Female red iguana 2.5 years old

All of my lizards are either captive bred or in the case of the iguana, adopted from craigslist. It's just my philosophy that if born in the wild, they should live in the wild.

Dubia roaches cannot climb smooth surfaces. Turkestan roaches usually don't. Theroachguy(dot)com and Aaronpauling(dot)com sell them fairly cheap

Sorry I'm responding late but yes I've fed roaches but I got the kind that couldn't fly or climb. You can line about 3 inches of the top part of the bin in vaseline

You might try a small piece of glass with newspaper by his cage.Glass looks like water and once it goes on the glass for a month you can remove glass and leave the newspaper and you can just throw the newspaper away ! I used to have free roaming igs and this works, because in the wild they use water to defacate so they cant be tracked by predators.

I get most of my feeders locally at my job now but coastalsilkworms.com was the place I used to get my silkworms and hornworms from for cheap. Greatlakeshornworm.com is cheap too

I just drew an outline on some scrubs and cut it out and my wife sewed it together and stuffed it.Doesnt evan look like a true ig.I have seen them evan "attack" a piece of cloth like a towel. It may just be the color, but I dont know if they can tell colors. I am working on if they can see colors now. Thanks for your work with reptiles !!

I like the "tube" leash should help in croc roll and not mess up the spines.Iguanas love going outside I want to thank you for doing that. Keep up the good work and nice vid. p.s. have you seen my smart lizards Bigboy evan made a "movie" called Giant Monster go home and Buddy , Blue and Bigboy come to me when I call them by name.Try it I am sure your ig will do it to!
