Rebels of Egypt was founded in 2000 by four kids from a no name town in Ohio. The site, which was originally known as Cider Shack, began to gain popularity in our home town. After some "legal" trouble over the name Cider Shack, Rebels of Egypt was born.(The name comes from the street where we hung out Egypt rd. a little F.Y.I.) We started the new site, and began to make videos on a regular basis. Over the course of the next couple of years Rebels of Egypt became more widely known. Gaining and losing members as along the way. Fans reached all through America and stretched as far as Europe and Canada. We reached our peak in the Fall of 2004, but quickly fell off the face of the planet. Rebels of Egypt has been in hiatus every since. This is just the first step that I am taking in bring the site back. This is going to take some time, but with enough support Rebels of Egypt will be bigger than ever.
