The mindless, HEART-less attack in the dead of night upon a * T H E A T R E * ..... What can such people who carried out this assault have been hoping to achieve - except to make their brothers & sisters feel uneasy, afraid - to intimidate them... I feel tremendous sadness for the hopeless intransigence that closes the heart and mind to the awareness of the Other...And I salute the great courage, heart, bravery and ARTISTRY of THE F R E E D O M THEATRE. May God grant Love & Strength to you all ! Hope all those arrested are released soon and unharmed ! ! !

The recent attack on the Freedom Theater by Israelis bring the question to my mind - Is Israel afraid of the theater, freedom or culture, or is it simply like the Nazi barbarians destroying for the sake of destruction and hate.
Palestine must be free, Culture must be free. Theaters must be free and what the Israel traveling circus wants to do it must do it within its borders.

Today, the 5th of April 2011, is a very sad day to all Palestinians and activists anywhere, we lost a great human, theater director, Juliano Mer-Khamis. Like his Mom Arna, he will stay in our minds for ever.
