About TheART
TheART are a four piece rock band, who originated in Sydney, Australia, formally known as The Follow the band like to keep moving and have spent the last two years touring and recording in the US.
The FolloW supported Sonic Youth in June 2004 before releasing their debut album 'Empty Orchestra', recorded by singer / guitarist, Azaria, and produced by SY guitarist, Lee Ranaldo. After touring Australia with Nine Inch Nails and Team Sleep in 2005 the band flew to L.A. where they met producer Nick Launay. In April 2006 The FolloW began recording their second E.P, 'Hope You're Happy' with Nick at Electric Avenue Studios in Sydney, Australia. 'Hope you're Happy' was released in August 2006, the band also released a vinyl single of their song 'Smashed Heart' in the UK before embarking on a one month tour, starting in Manchester at the 'In The City Festival'.
From there they moved to LA and renamed as themselves as The Art. Time has seen them evolve their passionate and highly energetic live show, as well as develop their music in the studio.
